| First of all, you should never base someone's knowledge of lack there of because of a certain status he has indicated on a web forum. Secondly, you're mindset is for 2006. Why don't you think back to the early 1980's when Nissan was designing the Z31? The Z31 Turbo was THE most powerful car in Japan. At 7.8:1 with the proper fuel and supporting changes (which had nothing to do with the internal strength of the motor), Nissan was on top and doing it safely. You should know as well as anyone Nissan builds RELIABLE cars, that's why the Z32 runs 9.5 psi. Does that mean it can't take more because Nissan engineered it at only 9.5 psi? We all know the Z32 is an DETUNED 400HP car +/- some. Nissan was building a car that would last hundreds of thousands of miles. They didn't care to test the limit of their engineering in the VG30ET, they wanted some slack. It's really quite pointless because you're views are pretty biased. I don't remember you disputing ConverTT's decision to TT his NA motor. Last time I checked he was just fine at 10.5:1.
